A Memory That Matters

When I demonstrate my devotion to Christ despite the voices, I begin to develop a memory that matters.

Memorials are very valuable reminders of moments that need to be recalled. That is what makes memorial day so important. It gives us some time to reflect on the men and women who sacrificed for our freedom. These are sacrifices, memories, and lives that should never be forgotten. Memorials aren’t a new concept. In fact, memorials were very important to God. Whether it was Moses when God sent him to Israel (Exodus 3:15), Joshua crossing the Jordan (Joshua 4:7), or Esther’s victory over Haman’s wicked plan (Esther 9:28). God instituted “memories that mattered”.
